Troy Softball Continues Road Trip at Florida A&M

TROY, Alabama – The Troy softball team continues its 10-game road trip as they travel to Tallahassee, Fla., for a game against Florida A&M at the Lady Rattler Softball Complex set to begin at 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

The Trojans (25-19) are led offensively by Hannah Day, who leads the team with a .323 batting average and has accumulated 43 hits for the year.

Michelle Phelps is batting .412 with two home runs, three doubles and six RBIs in the past five games. In non-conference games this year, Phelps is batting .330 with five home runs with five doubles and 22 RBIs. She has drawn 10 walks and is slugging .557 when facing non-conference teams.

Troy has hit 60 doubles this season, which is fourth most in the Sun Belt. Khadija Neely leads the team in doubles with 12.

The Trojans have 43 home runs this season and have hit at least one home run in 11 of the last 15 games. The 43 home runs this season marks for fourth best in the conference.

In mid-week games, Becca Hartley is batting .324 with five home runs, one double, 15 RBIs and has a .525 slugging percentage.
