Troy (16-9, 11-5) is coming off of a 99-93, overtime win at Georgia Southern on Thursday. Ashley Beverly-Kelley scored 46 points in the game, the most scored by an NCAA Division I player this season. She scored 32 of her points after halftime and was 5-of-8 from deep on the night.Â
Â
The junior ranks second in the Sun Belt in scoring (17.8), ninth in assists (2.8) and second in steals (2.5), making her the only Sun Belt player in the top 10 of all three categories.
          Â
Ronita Garrett had 25 points and 17 rebounds at Georgia Southern, marking her 17th double-double of the season, the most in the Sun Belt and eighth in the NCAA. She is first in the league in rebounding (11.1 rpg) and fifth in scoring (15.7 ppg).
          Â
Troy currently sits in third place in the Sun Belt standings. With four league games still to play, Troy has already set the program record with 11 Sun Belt wins. Troy is two wins away from tying the program record for wins in any conference, held by the 1996-97 NCAA Tournament team that went 13-3 in Mid-Continent play.
          Â
Troy has scored 75-plus points in nine of its last 13 games, upping its scoring average to a Sun Belt best 77.1 points per game (21st in NCAA). Troy also leads the league in assists (15.0 apg) and rebounds (43.3 rpg). Troy is also forcing an average of 22.8 turnovers per game and grabbing 12.1 steals per game, marks that both lead the Sun Belt and rank fifth and third in the NCAA, respectively.
          Â
UALR (22-3, 15-1) is coming off of a 63-61 win over Arkansas State on Thursday, extending its lead to 2.5 games in the Sun Belt standings. UALR sits second in the NCAA in scoring defense at 50.2 points per game and has won all but five of its Sun Belt games by at least 20 points.
          Â
UALR won this season's earlier meeting, 82-56, in Little Rock and is 14-1 all-time against Troy. Troy won last season's meeting in Trojan Arena, 86-77. Saturday's meeting will be the eighth straight between the two that puts the Sun Belt's top scoring offense (Troy) against the league's top scoring defense (UALR).
