Troy's Gabriel Dias Earns National Ranking

SKILLMAN, New Jersey – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its national rankings on Tuesday, with Troy's Gabriel Dias entering the Men's National Singles Rankings at No. 89.

Dias is 3-2 on the season, including a win over Florida's Maxx Lipman, who was ranked 34th at the time of the match. Dias' only losses on the season have come to Ole Miss' Stefan Lindmark, the 80th-ranked player in the nation, and SMU's Arturs KazijevsÂÂ, a match he lost in three sets.

Dias is one of two Sun Belt players ranked in the ITA's top 125.Â

The Trojans return to the court this weekend when they travel to Florida to take on Florida Gulf Coast on Friday then Stetson and Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Troy will then return home to host Jacksonville State on Tuesday.
