Troy (12-7, 7-3) is coming off of a dominant, 90-51, win over ULM on Thursday. In the game, the Trojans tied a school record with 23 steals as they forced the Warhawks into 39 turnovers and picked up a season sweep of ULM along the way. Troy set the tone early and opened up a 27-4 lead on ULM in the first half before leading by as many as 51 points in the second half.
          Â
The win snapped a two-game skid for the Trojans and moved them into third place in the Sun Belt standings. The two losses came to UALR and Arkansas State, the only two teams above Troy in the standings. Troy is 7-3 halfway through its Sun Belt schedule, marking the program's best 10-game start to conference play since also starting 7-3 in Atlantic Sun play in 2002-03.
          Â
Ashley Beverly-Kelley led the Trojans with 23 points against ULM and also posted season highs of six assists and six steals. Beverly-Kelley hit three of Troy's 11 3-pointers and now ranks fifth in the Sun Belt in scoring at 15.1 points per game.
          Â
Ronita Garrett ranks right behind her as she sits sixth in the league with a 14.6 per game scoring average. Garrett leads the Sun Belt in rebounding at 10.7 boards per game and also leads the league with 13 double-doubles, a mark that ranks seventh in the NCAA.
          Â
Troy has scored 75-plus points in six of its last seven games, upping its scoring average to a Sun Belt best 75.5 points per game. The Trojans also lead the league in rebounding (43.0), assists (14.7) and steals (11.6).  Now in her third season, Chanda Rigby and the Trojans led the league in scoring in each of the first two seasons as well.
          Â
UT Arlington (10-9, 4-6) has lost six of is last eight games with both wins coming over Georgia State, including a 57-45 win on Thursday night at home. The Mavericks held GSU to 16 percent shooting in the first half and led by as many as 20 points in the second half.
          Â
In their previous meeting this season, the Trojans dominated the paint in a win over the Mavericks, posting 11 blocks and leading for much of the game in Trojan Arena. The win was Troy's third straight over UTA and moved the Trojans to 3-1 all-time against the Mavericks.
