Troy University Track & Field Head Coach Jill Lancaster Resigns

TROY, Ala. – Troy University track and field head coach Jill Lancaster has resigned effective immediately due to family medical concerns, Athletic Director John Hartwell announced Tuesday.

"We appreciate Jill's years of service and dedication to Troy University, and the impact that she had on so many student-athletes," Hartwell said. "We will begin a national search immediately for the next coach to lead our track and field and cross country programs."

Lancaster just completed her seventh season as the head coach of the Troy men's and women's track and field teams and ninth with the program after beginning as an assistant coach.Â
