Trojans Visit Local Elementary School

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team spent its Monday morning visiting the students of Troy Elementary School, encouraging the students to read during their holiday break.
Santa Claus joined the Troy student-athletes and coaches as they visited students ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. The Trojans passed out bookmarks, encouraging students to read while they are out of school for holiday break.
The bookmarks, which featured pictures of the Trojans reading their favorite books, could also be used by the students to gain admission to a future Troy women's basketball home game.
