Troy Wraps Up Play at ITA Regional

AUBURN, Alabama – The Troy men's tennis team concluded play at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional, hosted by Auburn, on Saturday. Giovani Samaha was the only Trojan in action on Saturday.

Samaha won a third round match in the singles consolation draw, defeating Samford's Jake Faundez, 7-6, 6-2. Samaha fell in the round of 16 to South Alabama's Tuki Jacobs, 6-1, 6-3.

Gabriel Sciacca Dias and Pablo Moreno were scheduled to play in the third round of the doubles draw, but had to withdraw after Dias was injured in a singles match yesterday. Below are all of Troy's results from this weekend's play.

Troy returns to the court next weekend when they travel to the Big Easy Tennis Classic.
