Trojans Fall to Florida A&M on Senior Day

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team dropped its match to Florida A&M, 4-2, on Tuesday. The match marked the final at home for Troy seniors Patrick Eichler and Anas Rouchdi.

Troy (8-15) lost at first and third doubles, dropping the opening point to Florida A&M (10-10). At second doubles, Rouchdi and Eichler were up 7-2 when the point was clinched.

The Trojans picked up two wins in singles play, starting with Sami Ghorbel at third singles as he won, 6-1, 6-3, to push his record in dual match singles paly to 13-7 this season.

Eichler also picked up a singles win, his second straight, with a win by default over the Rattlers' Takura Happy. Complete results are below.

The Trojans return to the court on Saturday when they travel to take on Georgia State in a Sun Belt match.
