TROY, Ala. – A big weekend has come and gone for the Troy women's basketball team, but a big week lies ahead as well. TroyTrojans.com talked to head coach Chanda Rigby about all of the latest events. Here is a summary.
Troy Drops Sun Belt Leader Middle Tennessee
For the first time in team history, the Troy women's basketball team (5-18, 2-12) defeated Middle Tennessee (18-6, 13-2), 74-70 in overtime in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Joanna Harden led the Trojans with 27 points and four assists, including several key free throws in the clutch.

ESPN's Graham Hays Names “Upset of the Week”
ESPN.com women's college sports writer called Troy's win over Middle Tennessee the upset of the week, topping LSU's win over No.9 Georgia and Michigan's win over No.13 Purdue.

Joanna Harden Earns Sun Belt Player of the Week
Junior guard Joanna Harden was named Sun Belt Player of the Week on Monday after scoring 27 in Troy's win at Middle Tennessee and averaging 23.0 points per game on the week.
The award is the first Sun Belt Player of the Week award in the history of the Troy women's basketball program.

Troy Hosts FIU on Thursday
The Trojans will look to avoid a let down while also looking to avenge an earlier loss to FIU as they host the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday at Trojan Arena. Troy fell to FIU, 82-76, in Miami in mid-January.
Harden matched FIU's Jerica Coley, an All-America candidate bucket-for-bucket in the second half as both finished with 33 points in an exciting back-and-forth game.

Trojans Host Play4Kay Game on Sun Belt Network on Saturday
Troy remains at home on Saturday to host North Texas in a special match-up. The Trojans will host their annual Play4Kay game for breast cancer awareness, with donations being taken at the door and all proceeds going to the Play4Kay foundation.
The game will also be televised on the Sun Belt Network, marking the second game on the regional network from inside of Trojan Arena for the Trojans.
