TROY, Ala. – For the third year in a row, Troy soccer head coach Chris Bentley has been selected to be part of the National Olympic Development Program (ODP) coaching staff.
“To be a part of the National ODP camp staff again is a tremendous honor,” Bentley said. “This is a great opportunity to both grow as a coach as well as represent Troy University."
Bentley will join other collegiate coaches for the annual USL Super Y-League Olympic Development Program National Camp, held in Bradenton, Fla., at the IMG Academy campus from February 28-March 3.
The goal of the Super Y-League ODP National Camp Coach is to provide an opportunity for every player to showcase his or her talent throughout the camp. Coaches will be evaluating and assessing each player under their direct supervision as well as those from other group in an effort to identify a pool of players/goalkeepers for the SYL ODP National Select Team.
