Trojans Travel to the USA Invitational

HEAT SHEETS
TROY, Ala. – The Troy track & field team will be heading to Mobile, Ala. to compete in the University of South Alabama Invitational today.
The Trojans are coming off a strong performance at the Tiger Track Classic, and had one athlete, Nicolo' Bolla, recognized as the Sun Belt Conference field athlete of the week.
Two weeks ago at the Jaguars Invitational at USA, the Trojans returned with ten champions. Head coach Jill Lancaster said they have continued to improve as time nears for the conference championship.
“We continue to have groups of breakthroughs at every meet that are different from the previous meets,” head coach Jill Lancaster said. "We are getting closer to conference, and these athletes are getting closer to where they want to be."
Competition begins today when the throwers head to the field to compete in the women's and men's hammer at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Trojans will begin with field events at 10:00 a.m. and running events at 11:30 a.m. to be on a rolling schedule.
