Women’s Golf Places Fifth at Lady Jaguar Invitational

FINAL RESULTS
MOBLIE, Ala. – The Troy women's golf team finished in fifth place at the South Alabama Lady Jaguar Invitational after carding a final-round 303 Tuesday at the par-72, 6,071-yard Azalea City Golf Club.
The Trojans shaved 10 strokes off their opening round score and moved up a spot in the standings from Monday's first round. South Alabama won the team title by two strokes over Butler, 607-609. Samford finished in third, ULM in fourth and Troy in fifth. The Trojans had the third most birdies in the tournament with 13.
Freshman Taylor McGraw led the Trojans with a fifth place finish after shooting a 74 on Tuesday and a two-round 149; McGraw led the tournament with 28 pars over the 36 holes. Haley Lawrence shaved four strokes off her opening round total with a 75 in the second round to finish tied for 14th.
Langley Vannoy finished tied for 24th following a 78 in the final round, while Sofia Bjorkman tied for 30th and Sydney Conrad tied for 36th overall. Playing as an individual, Kayln Hudson finished in 51st place.
The Trojans will travel to the Hattiesburg Country Club on March 12-13 to compete in the Lady Eagles Classic hosted by Southern Mississippi.
