Troy Ends Indoor Season with Multiple PR's

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Troy women's track & field team finish the indoor season on a high note at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships at Middle Tennessee State University.
“We continued to compete hard today,” Coach Jill Lancaster said. “This is a great end to the indoor season leading into outdoor.”
Breanna Sanner and Veronica Bryant both moved up in the all-time ranks in the triple jump. Sanner placed tenth with a distance of 11.95 meters moving to third all-time at Troy. Bryant set a personal best placing 12th with a distance of 11.86 meters moving to fourth all-time.
Jasmine Patton set a personal best in the 55-meter hurdles placing sixth with a time of 8.04 seconds moving to third all-time at Troy.
The 4x400 relay team placed sixth with a time of 3:56.20. Ariel Cavazos was the first leg, Ja-Courtney Alexander was the second leg, Alexus Cobbs was the third leg, and Candice Vaughn was the last leg.
Brynn Forsythe and Karen Wyatt placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the weight throw. Forsythe had a distance of 16.30 meters, and Wyatt had a distance of 16.08 meters.
Nicole Studstill set a personal best in the weight throw and moved to fifth all-time with a distance of 15.52 meters. Freshman Erin Walker also set a personal best and moved to eighth all-time on the weight throw with a distance of 14.63 meters.
Tyronica Shaver set a personal best in the triple jump with a distance of 11.27 meters placing 22nd.
Mychea Williams placed seventh in the 55-meters with a time of 7.21 seconds.
Morgan Paulson placed 25th in the 5000-meters with a time of 19:48.05.
The Trojans will now begin to prepare for the outdoor season beginning March 2 with the UNF Spring Break Invite in Jacksonville, Fl.
