TROY, Ala. – After a rare Thursday night off, the Troy men's basketball team looks to get back on the winning track on Saturday as they get set to host WKU at Sartain Hall.
The Trojans and Hilltoppers will begin at a special tip time of 1:00 p.m. as part of a basketball doubleheader with the women's game beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The Trojans (7-15, 2-9) are looking to snap a four-game losing skid in the second to last game to be played at Sartain Hall. They look to do so against a WKU team that is coming off of a Thursday night loss at Middle Tennessee.
The Toppers (8-16, 4-7) had won three of four before their loss to the Blue Raiders. WKU is 3-5 under interim head coach Ray Harper who took over on Jan. 6.
His first game at the helm of WKU came against Troy on Jan. 7 at E.A. Diddle Arena, a game that the Trojans won 67-65 thanks to a Tim Owens game-winning bucket with less than four seconds to go.
The win was the first for Troy at E.A. Diddle Arena and the Trojans will look to build on the success as they go for the season sweep over WKU on Saturday.
