Seventh Annual Tipoff Banquet Announced for Oct. 15

TROY, Ala. – With the 2026-27 Troy basketball season set to begin on Nov. 2, Troy Athletics is proud to announce that the seventh annual Tipoff Banquet will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m.
"We are incredibly excited about this year's Tipoff Banquet because it signals that a new season is right around the corner," men's basketball head coach Adam Howard said. "It is a special opportunity to introduce our players and staff while allowing them to connect personally with the fans and supporters who mean so much to our program. There is tremendous excitement surrounding Troy Basketball due to the program's success over the past several seasons, and we look forward to building on that momentum together."
Individual tickets for the event are $100, while a full table is available for $625. A full table includes six seats, plus a men's and women's student-athlete seated at the table. A ticket includes a dinner buffet, drinks, enter-to-win drawings, silent auction items and the exclusive opportunity to mingle with the Troy basketball players and coaches. The Troy players and coaches will preview the 2026-27 season with a Q&A panel.
Fans can also purchase a $1,000 sponsorship, which includes special recognition at the banquet. All proceeds from tickets and sponsorships will directly benefit both basketball programs.
"I look forward to introducing this new team at the Tipoff Banquet," women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby said. "We have a lot of new faces, and this event is usually their first interaction with our fans."
