Trojans Set for ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Troy men's basketball gets a three-game road stretch underway on Saturday afternoon when they take on East Tennessee State with tip-off set for 4:00 p.m.
Because of the Trojans' home football game, the men's basketball game against ETSU will not be broadcast on the Troy IMG Sports Network. Fans can instead listen to ETSU's broadcast at the above link.
The Trojans will travel to UAB and Southern Utah in the next week before returning home to host ETSU on Tuesday, November 29.

Gameday Storylines
- The Trojans return to the road after knocking off the LaGrange Panthers, 116-63, last Sunday in the final regular season opener at Sartain Hall.
- This contest marks the beginning of a three-game road swing for Troy as they take on East Tennessee State, UAB, and Southern Utah this week.
- This is the first meeting between the Trojans and the Murry Bartow-led East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
- The Trojans are 0-1 on the road this season; Troy fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 90-85, on the road to begin the 2011-12 season.
- Head coach Don Maestri, is one of just four coaches with 30+ years at his current school. Associate head coach David Felix is taking it one step further. Felix is in his 31st year as an assistant at Troy.
- Against LaGrange, junior guard Alan Jones led the Trojan with 23 points and junior guard/forward Justin Wright chipped in 18 points off the bench.
- Ray Chambers, Emil Jones, and R.J. Scott all recorded double-doubles against the Panthers, which was the first time Troy had three players with double-doubles in D-I history.
- The Trojans will play Tuesday night against in-state rival UAB at Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Ala. at 7:00 p.m.
- UAB knocked off the Trojans last season at Sartain Hall, 78-57.
