Promotions Announced for Hoops

The Promotions Office has announced promotions will run through the end of the season
TROY, Ala. – The Troy University Department of Athletics Promotions Office announced promotions for the remainder of the season in women's basketball.
Troy Promotions Director, Matthew Carlo, announced the promotions in a release from his office next week that begins this Saturday with 50 cent hot dog day against the University of North Texas. The game is set to begin at 4 pm.
After a week away from home, the Trojans return home January 26 to face the University of South Alabama on t-shirt day. Free t-shirts will be thrown into the stands on the night, with the game tipping at 7 pm at Sartain Hall.
On February 3, the Promotions Office will be holding a Sorority Shootout with sororities competing in a free throw contest at the half. The game will take place at 5:15 pm against FIU. The following home game against Denver on February 12 is “Bring A Date to the Game” in which will be a buy one-get one free night. The game will tip at 5:15 pm as part of a doubleheader at Sartain Hall.
In one of the final two home games of the season will be on February 17 – Pack the House and Pink Zone game – against Middle Tennessee. The game will tip at 5:15 pm, and money raised will help fight cancer and go to cancer research. The last home game will be against Arkansas State on February 19 at 5:15 pm in which the team will honor senior Donette McNair (New London, Conn./New London HS) on Senior Day.
