Trojans Reel In Academic Honors

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Last season, the Trojans had eight players honored for their academic work at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. They have done themselves one better this season, as they will have nine players honored prior to the tip-off of the opening round game.

Those players who have attained a 3.0-3.49 grade point average for the 2008-09 academic year (Academic Honor Roll) are Lucy Lindley, Staci Mitchell, Jacklyn Selfe.

Meanwhile those student-athletes who attained a 3.5 and above grade point average for the 2008-09 academic year (Commissioner's List) are Brittnie Davis, Sarah McAppion, Kylie Morrissy, Danielle Realph, Larelle Roper and Alyce Shearing.

With the total of nine student-athletes being honored academically this season, that runs the total since 1996 to 88 student-athletes.
