CLEMSON, SC - The Troy University women's indoor track and field program escapes the snow this week in south Alabama, traveling to Clemson for the Tiger Paw Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The Trojans have had two weeks to prepare and train for the meet, in preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships which is the next meet on the schedule.
Several student-athletes will be in action this weekend, beginning with a host of athletes competing on the opening day of the meet on Friday. A trio of student-athletes will get the weekend started in the long jump when Ariel Cavazos, Luv Dean and Jasmine Patton hit the pits to open the meet at 5 pm; while at the same time Tiphanie Baker, Brynn Forsythe and Dee Richards will begin competition in the weight throw.
But that is not all as far as the field events go, as a trio of student-athletes will be competing in the high jump at the same time - highlighting a long day in field events for the Trojans. Veronica Bryant, Kapri Hockaday and Brittany Hall all will see their first competition of the meet in the high jump for the Trojans on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Allison Paulson and twin sister Morgan Paulson will also be running distance competition for the Trojans, as they are entered in the 5000-meter run.
