Sun Belt Releases Predicitions For Sun Belt Championships

Trojans picked to finish seventh and eighth at cross country championships
NEW ORLEANS – UALR's men's team and Western Kentucky's women's team were voted by the Sun Belt's head cross country coaches to win the 2010 Sun Belt Cross Country Championship this Saturday.
UALR has won three men's team conference crowns and looks to add a fourth for the Trojans. Middle Tennessee won the men's team title last season for the first time in school history.
WKU has won four consecutive women's championships and 15 overall. The Lady Hilltoppers also look to crown an individual champion for the fourth consecutive year. Janet Jesang won the SBC individual champion title in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
On the men's side, UALR is followed by the defending champions Middle Tennessee, South Alabama, WKU and North Texas to round out the top five.
For the women, WKU is followed by Middle Tennessee, Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic tied at third, and South Alabama.

The 2010 Sun Belt Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Western Kentucky University on Saturday, Oct. 30. All events will take place at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green, Ky. The women's 5k race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 11 a.m.
