Notes: Troy took the lone game with ULM last season in
down-to-the-wire fashion and picked up another one-point victory earlier this
season ... Troy is aiming for three straight wins in the series with ULM ... The
Trojans haven't lost to ULM since the 2006-07 season ... The two teams have split
two previous games in Trojan Arena with ULM winning the first match-up and Troy
gaining revenge the following season ... The two contests were decided by an
average of 17 points ... Brandon Hazzard has averaged 21.5 in two career
starts against ULM ... He has hit 56.3 percent (9-of-16) of his 3-point attempts

QUICK HITTERS
After a big win last Thursday against WKU, Troy faltered on Saturday at Louisiana-Lafayette. The task doesn't get any easier with ULM on Thursday.
- Troy head coach Don Maestri is 54-54 all-time against current members of the Sun Belt Conference.
- The one bright spot in Saturday's loss was senior point guard Michael Vogler. With his four assists against UL, Vogler vaulted into 24th place on the Sun Belt all-time assist list with 404. Vogler is just four assists from becoming the all-time assist leader in Troy's division I history.
- Saturday's 69-54 defeat at the hands of the Ragin' Cajuns marked Troy's third straight game with 69 in the final score (L, 69-67 at USA; W, 77-69 vs. WKU)
- Richard Delk was Troy's only double-digit scorer against the Cajuns. That feat has occurred only one other time this season, at Florida on November 20. Delk was also the only double-digit scorer in the loss in Gainesville.
- Saturday's loss to UL was just the third game this season where season guard Brandon Hazzard failed to hit a 3-pointer. Troy is 0-3 in those games. In the last two seasons, Troy is 1-5 in which Hazzard does not sink a 3-point try. He scored 2 points, breaking a streak of 15 straight games with double-figures.
- Troy posted a season-low 54 points against UL, besting the previous mark of 58 points scored at UF
- Troy is averaging a league-best 77.9 ppg and is second in FG% (48.4%) and second in 3-point FG% (39.4). ULM is third in the SBC in FT% (72.8) and second in steals (164).
