Trojans Take Streak to Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla. ? With head coach Don Maestri's 450th win and the team's seventh straight victory in the rear-view mirror, the Troy Trojans basketball team is pressing on toward an eighth straight victory with FAU next on the schedule Saturday night at FAU Arena.
Troy (14-10, 9-3 SBC) currently holds the longest active win streak in the Sun Belt Conference and with Thursday's victory guaranteed itself a .500 record in league play for the first time ever. The Trojans have been members of the SBC for just four seasons.
Brandon Hazzard (14.6 ppg) and Richard Delk (14.2 ppg) lead the Trojans offensively. Michael Vogler scores 10 ppg and leads the conference in assists with 128.
The Trojans have already defeated FAU once this season, a 94-87 victory on December 18 behind double-digit scoring from four players. Troy leads the all-time series 16-6.
The Owls' Paul Graham III leads the Sun Belt in scoring during conference play with 18.5 points per game. Forward Brett Royster leads the league with 54 blocks. All-Conference forward Carlos Monroe missed time earlier this year with an eligibility issue and is now out with a foot injury.
