Trojans Looking for PGA Tour Cards

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The fourth round of the final stage of PGA Tour Q School had to be finished on Sunday morning, but both former Trojans that are in the field finished their rounds on Saturday.
Josh Broadaway, a 2000 graduate of Troy, currently sits tied for 20th with a four round score of 8-under par. That score puts him 11 strokes behind the leader. Broadaway shot a 70 on Friday in the third round, and a 71 on Saturday in the fourth round at the par 72 course.
Ben Bates, a 1984 graduate, has seen the same success and is currently 8-over par.
The final qualifying event, which began on Wednesday and will conclude on Monday, is a six round, 108-hole event, with the final three rounds being shown live on the Golf Channel.
The 170 participants at Bear Lakes Country Club are fighting for 25 PGA Tour cards. Also, the next 50 (approximate) finishers will earn fully-exempt status on the Nationwide Tour.
