Troy-ULM To Be Televised by CSS

MONROE, La. - The Troy women's basketball team will face ULM in a key Sun Belt Conference game Sunday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The game will tip at 2 pm and will be televised by Cox Sports Television and CSS (check your local listings for availability).
It will be the first and only regular season meeting betweeen the two teams, who met last season in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. In that contest, Kylie Morrissy hit a running jumper with under two seconds remaining to give the Trojans the victory.
This season, Troy (8-8, 3-3 Sun Belt) and ULM (10-7, 3-3 Sun Belt) enter the contest after losing their last game. The Trojans fell to South Alabama 68-60 Wednesday night, ending a five-game winning streak.
Troy is led by Morrissy, averaging over 19 points per game, and Donette McNair who is averaging over 11 points and seven rebounds per contest. In their last game, against South Alabama, Morrissy scored a game-high and career-high 28 points in the loss while McNair tied her career-high with 15 rebounds.
ULM enters the game led by Lottie Morrie, averaging 11.4 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game. ULM and Troy have played two common opponents - South Alabama and Louisiana-Lafayette. ULM is 2-0 against those opponents, while Troy is 1-1.
