Whirlwind Summer for New Coach

The program has also been hard at work raising money to upgrade the facilities at the Troy Soccer Complex. Since taking over as head coach in January the program has added covered benches to the field, new office furniture for the coaches, as well as new locker room enhancements.
“I'm excited for our new additions and I look forward to continuing our goal to make our facility the best in the conference. I definitely want to say a special thank you to Mr. Cris McLeaish for his help with our locker room additions,” Bentley said.
“The support from our administration, Dr. Hawkins and the Troy Soccer family in our fundraising efforts has been tremendous.”
He is also in the final stages of completing his coaching staff which includes former Trojan Erin Kniery as a graduate assistant and upon a visa approval a lead assistant coach.

He'll get his first chance to see what his new squad can do on the field when the Trojans kick-off their 2008 season at home on Saturday, August 23 against the Faulkner Eagles at 3 pm. Admission to all home soccer matches is free.
