Trojans Take Series from South Alabama

South made things interesting in the top of the seventh with two runs on two hit to close the gap to 6-5.
Senior Rob Brown made his final start at Riddle-Pace Field and did not factor in the decision as he went an inning and a third and gave up three runs on five hits while walking three and striking out two.
Freshman Drew Hull (5-0) was the beneficiary of the Trojan scoring inning in the fifth. He went three and two thirds innings and gave up only two this while walking one and striking out four batters.
Josh Storm (12) picked up his 12th save of the season, just one day after he set the single season saves record, as he tossed the final two innings and allowed one hit while striking out two batters.
The Trojans were led at the plate by Miller, who had two doubled and the three-run homer. Henry also had two hits.
The Trojans will either play Louisiana-Lafayette or Western Kentucky at 9 am to open the Sun Belt Conference Tournament next week in
