Trojans Travel to Auburn

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University Trojans look to stay on the winning track Tuesday night when they travel to Auburn in non-conference baseball action.
Troy (25-19, 12-8 SBC) is coming off
a weekend trip in which they lost two-of-three to Sun Belt Conference foe, Louisiana-Lafayette. Meanwhile, Auburn (24-21, 8-13 SEC) is
coming off a weekend in which they lost two-of-three games to arch-rival Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Troy will send RHP Rob Brown (2-2, 4.58 ERA) to face Auburn and RHP Taylor Thompson (2-4, 6.59 ERA).
The Trojans are led by Bryan Miller at the plate with a .361 batting average, as well as five home runs and 36 RBI to go with 23 doubles. Adam Bryant is hitting .323 with eight doubles and 20 runs batted in, while Beau Brooks is hitting.319 with six homevruns and 30 RBI. Michael Precise leads the team in home runs with eight and has 47 RBI.
Auburn defeated Troy last month at Riddle-Pace Field on a two-run single in the of the ninth inning to win 6-4.
The game is scheduled for a 6 pm first pitch, and can be heard on WTBF-94.7 FM with Barry McKnight providing the play-by-play.
