Trojans Fall to WKU, 5-0

BOWLING GREEN ? Troy trailed just 1-0 entering the second half, but Western Kentucky scored on a penalty kick and then added three more goals to drop the Trojans 5-0 in SBC soccer action.
The Hill Toppers out shot Troy 32-to-9 for the match. Bridget Duke paced the Trojans with four shots, two on goal.
“I think after the penalty kick we lost our focus, got down on ourselves and could not recover,” head coach Chris Bentley said.
The Trojans (6-5-2, 1-3 SBC) will have to regroup over Troy University's Fall Break which runs Monday to Friday before squaring off with Denver on Friday. Admission to all home soccer matches is free.
