North Texas Visits Trojan Arena

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University Trojans return to Sun Belt Conference action when they host the University of North Texas Thursday night at Trojan Arena.
Troy (7-6, 0-2 SBC) is in search of their first conference victory of the season, and is coming off of a third place finish at the Fordham University Holiday Tournament this past week in New York. The Trojans are led by senior guard Amy Lewis averaging 19.3 points through 13 games this season, and 22.5 in the Trojans two conference games. Junior guard Kylie Morrissy is averaging 14.4 points through 13 games this season and 15.5 in two conference games. Morrissy is coming off a career-high 26 points against Fordham in the consolation game, and earned all-tournament honors for her performance.
Senior forward Audrey Muse is coming off of her two best games of the season for the Trojans; scoring 17 points against Fairfield and 16 points against Fordham. She grabbed nine rebounds in each contest.
The Trojans will look to end a five-game losing streak against North Texas (6-7, 1-0 SBC) at 5:15 p.m. Thursday night.

On This Date in Trojans History
Troy is 2-2 all-time on this date in school history, dating back to 1975-76 ... the Trojans defeated the University of Alabama-Huntsville 75-51 during the 1989-90 season when the two schools were members of the Gulf South Conference in NCAA Division II ... Injury Update
All of the players on the Trojans roster will dress, with the exception of Lucy Lindley. The sophomore forward is listed as doubtful and will remain that way through the rest of this week. No other player has missed time due to injury thus far this season.
