Soccer Awarded NSCAA Team Academic Award

TROY, Ala. ? The Troy Trojan soccer team has been awarded a Team Academic Award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The 2007 soccer squad compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.3015.

Head Coach Chris Bentley is pleased with his squad's high academic performance and believes the commitment of his team will translate to added success on the field.

“This kind of dedication off the field should translate to progress on the field,” Bentley said. “This is a testament to not only how hard our student-athletes work off the field, but also the efforts put forth by Student Athlete Services.”
