Evelyn Keith and Ceil Martinec both added assists on the day.
The Trojans attempted 38 shots on the game, with
Karla Smith manned the goal for a full 90 minutes for the third
straight game. She made two saves, allowing zero goals to record her second win
and first shutout of her career.
Head Coach Diana Niland was pleased with her team's performance.
“I like the approach that we took,” Niland said. “We
dictated the flow of the game and played our way.”
“Fatigue caught up with us towards the end, but that's to
be expected playing at 3 pm with only three subs.”
