Troy Opens Home Schedule Versus Shelton State

TROY, Ala. ? The Troy Trojans soccer team returns home after a 1-1 road trip to begin the season as they play host to Shelton State.

Troy and the Lady Bucs will square off at 3 pm at the Trojan Soccer Complex.

The Trojans received major contributions from several new comers as junior transfer Kate Heilich and freshman Elena Gaudin scored goals.

Freshmen Ashley Davis and Ceil Martinec added assists, while fellow freshman, goal keeper Karla Smith, enjoyed a sparkling debut allowing only two goals and made 15 saves in 210 minutes of work.

The first 75 fans in attendance at Wednesday's game will receive a free Troy Soccer t-shirt compliments of the Troy University Athletics Department. Admission to all home soccer matches is free.
