CONWAY, Ark. - It took 110 minutes for a victor to be decided, as the Troy Trojans fell to Central Arkansas by a final score of 2-1 in double overtime.
Both teams were held scoreless through the first half and into the second half before Troy took the lead on Ashley Davis' first career goal in the 76th minute. Ceil Martinec assisted on the score, her third assist of the season.
Central Arkansas would answer back with an equalizer in the 87th minute on a Tara Garza goal.
Kayla Wolff would score the game winning goal in the 106th minute.
Karla Smith made six saves for the Trojans, but allowed both goals.
The Trojans will next be in action on Sunday at Mississippi Valley State. The match is scheduled to start at 1 PM.
