KNOXVIILLE, Tenn. -- Only two Trojans finished events Saturday at the Sea Ray Relays before heavy rain and winds hit the area and forced the cancellation of the day's action.
Ryan Baker finished 12th in the men's hammer throw after his toss covered 52.43 meters (172-feet). The toss broke the school record set by Kevin Steiner back in 1981.
The only other event completed was the 4x100 relay, which saw the Troy team of Tevis Wells, Matavis Madden, Adrian Culbertson and Lamar Hicks run a time of 41.38.
The Trojans return to action at the ULM Warhaw Classic on Saturday, April 20. The meet is an addition to the orginal schedule, while listed the Drake Relays for the same date. The coaching staff opted to take a full team to a meet, rather than limited entries for Drake.
