Robinson and Hallahan Awarded National Honors

During the weekend sweep of Florida Atlantic, two seniors stood out and were rewarded with National Player of the Week honors by the College Baseball Foundation.
Senior Clint Robinson hit three home runs in the FAU series leading Troy to a sweep of one of the best hitting teams in baseball. On Friday night, Robinson had a home run and four RBI. He added one home run in each contest and totaled seven RBI on the weekend while scoring seven runs.
Senior pitcher Joe Hallahan had perhaps his best performance in his collegiate career. Hallahan pitched seven scoreless innings and 7 2/3 on the night. Hallahan gave up one earned run and a total of three on five hits. All three runs came in the eighth inning with two outs. Left handed hitters are hitting .071 against him. His record now stands at 2-0.
