Trojans head to Tulsa for Thanksgiving

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University women's basketball team travels to Tulsa this weekend for the Holiday Inn Select Thanksgiving Tournament, taking the floor Friday against Western Illinois.

Troy (1-1) is coming off a last-second victory over Kennesaw State, and will take the floor against Western Illinois (1-1), who is coming off a 60-59 loss to Northern Illinois last week. The Trojans have four players averaging in double figures (Kylie Morrissy, Amy Lewis, Danielle Realph and Audrey Muse) and have shot 44 percent or better from the floor in both of the games. Western Illinois has three players averaging double figures in the early portion of the schedule.

Troy and Western Illinois tip-off on November 23 at 1:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa. Sam Houston State and host Tulsa tip-off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The losers will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with the winners playing at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
