Soccer Host Big Conference Matchups

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojan soccer team will host Louisiana-Monroe and Lafayette in two important Sun Belt Conference match ups on Friday and Sunday at the Troy Soccer Complex.

Troy currently sits in 10th place in the Sun Belt, only two spots out of the final conference tournament birth. Troy trails eighth place team Florida Atlantic by two games.

Both games will be crucial as Troy has only three games remaining on the schedule.

Friday's game will start at 3 pm and will serve as the Trojans' Senior Day for 2007. The Troy Athletic Department will honor seniors Erin Kniery and Karlie Bierie in a pregame ceremony.

Sunday's game will start at noon. Admission to all home soccer matches is free.
