Bassett Named 2nd Team All-Conference

MOBILE, Ala. ? Troy guard O'Darien Bassett was named to the Second Team Preseason All-Sun Belt team as announced by the Sun Belt Conference office on Monday.

Bassett was the only member of the
"Preseason awards are nice, but I'm not too worried about it," Bassett said. "I just want to go out and prove what I know our team can do."
In addition to preseason player awards, the league also announced the annual preseason coaches poll.
The Trojans will open up their 2007-08 season on Nov. 5 with an exhibition game at home against West Alabama before kicking off the regular season Nov. 9 against the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
