Soccer Tailgate to Kick-Off Homecoming Weekend

The tailgate party will begin at 1 pm on Friday, October 19, at the Troy Soccer Complex.
The festivities will lead up to the Trojans facing off with Florida International at 3 pm in exciting Sun Belt Conference soccer action.
"This soccer tailgate and game will be a fantastic event for anyone who attends. For soccer fans and soccer novices alike, the whole environment will be awesome. It is a great chance for students and members of the community to kick off Homecoming weekend with a lot of spirit and good times, while cheering our team to victory," Head Coach Diana Niland said.
"We will have many exciting plans for the event. Alex Vaughn will be playing live from 1 until 2, the hill has plenty of room for people to lay out their tailgate spread, and we have tons of free stuff from local restaurants as well as other giveaways throughout the event."
Fans are encouraged to bring their own grills inside the stadium to tailgate, but discounted food will be available. There will also be t-shirt give-a-ways, prizes, a raffle and a 90's cover band will be performing.
Admission to the tailgate party and all home soccer matches is free.
