Trojans Add Small Forward for 2006-07

McNair scored nearly 1,400 points while playing for New London High School from 2000-05. The 5-11 small forward grabbed 983 rebounds and 371 steals, as well as tallying 248 blocks in her four seasons at New London.
As a senior, McNair shot 51 percent from the floor while averaging 14 points and 14 rebounds per game while helping New London to finish with a 20-4 record. She also averaged 5.1 assists, 6.1 steals and 3.1 blocks that season, while finishing with 17 double-doubles. For her efforts that season, McNair was named to the New London Day and Norwich Bulletin all-area teams, and she was also a second-team All-State selection.
From 2005-06, McNair played for Notre Dame Prep, averaging 18.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.

McNair joins a recruiting class that includes two forwards in Alyce Shearing of Canberra, Australia, and Lucy Lindley from Vestavia, Ala.
