We are extremely fortunate to have Craig Kennedy join the basketball family at Troy University,” Murphy said. Coach Kennedy has a strong understanding of the mission of college athletics.
Coach Kennedy and I go back to our time in the SEC, when he was an assistant at Auburn and I was an assistant at Alabama. I consider him to be a top-notch basketball coach, he's a terrific family man, and he will be an asset to the entire Troy University community.”
Kennedy is replacing Sean Page, who accepted a job as a head coach at Brescia University in Owensboro, Ky.
