Alana possesses good technique and has a rocket for a shot,” Troy head coach Diana Niland said. She is a very attack-minded player who we believe will be a dangerous forward for us. She has good quickness, is strong, and is very good one-on-one. Alana has a strong foundation and we think she will continue to grow as a player when she is in a demanding training environment year-round.”
Hawk joins five other incoming freshmen who have signed to play for the Trojans in 2006, and she is the third forward in that group. The incoming group will join sixteen returnees from last year's team that earned the school's first trip to a soccer post-season tournament when it qualified for the 2005 Sun Belt Championships.
