Desperation Shot Dooms Troy in 71-69 Loss at Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- After rallying from an 11-point deficit, the Troy Trojans saw their opportunity at a victory evaporate in a desperation heave at the buzzer as Bowling Green escaped with 71-69 victory.
Cedric Jackson capped a mad Troy comeback that started with the team down 11 with less than four minutes to play. Jackson nailed a three-pointer to tie the game with 4.4 seconds left, but the Falcons answered to steal the victory.
Martin Samarco threw in a desperation shot from the left corner at the buzzer to left Bowling Green to the victory.
