Moujoodi and Corcoran Lead Trojans at FSU Invitational

Moujoodi finished the tough five mile Miccosukee Greenway course with a time of 26:45, earning him 19th place overall.
Sophomore teammate Aadam Soorma was not far behind as he finished in 20th place overall with a time of 26:49.
Sophomore Paul Boothe ran his best effort of the year finishing with a time of 27:17 and 24th place. Freshmen Brett Lewis (27:37/33rd) and Adam Bradley (28:09/47th) also helped the Trojans as did Will Browder (29:01/57th) rounded out the scoring for the Trojans.
It is a tough course, much tougher than Auburn, and I thought the guys handled it well,? Troy distance coach Doc Anderson said. There's alot of pressure when your entire team consists of teenagers running in a Division I meet, and our guys are stepping up to the task.
For the Trojans, sophomore Jenean Corcoran returned with a vengeance and traversed the hilly course in a personal best time of 19:44, earning her a 20th overall place.
Sophomore Jennifer Graham (20:02/29th) and Senior Meghan Macdonald (21:14/55th) followed Corcoran into the finish chute.
Sophomore Sara Jackson's 21:38 and freshman Angela Palumbo's 22:22 completed the team scoring for Troy.
The ladies had to run the big hill twice and that was quite a challenge, but they responded in fine fashion and kept after it the entire race,? director of cross country Bob Lambert. Jenean had the race of her life today.?
Both teams will be training until October 21st when they play host to visiting teams at the Troy's Coach O Invitational. The race will be held at the Jesse H. Colley track and field complex and the Trojan Oaks Golf Course. Race time is set for 10 a.m.
