Troy drops match to Middle Tennessee, 8-1

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Troy Trojans women's soccer team fell to the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee by a score of 8-1 on Sunday afternoon, October 1, 2006 in Sun Belt Conference action.
The loss was the third for the Trojans in conference play, who now drop to 1-3 in the Sun Belt.
Six Blue Raiders scored in the match with Kim Farrant and Kala Morgan scoring twice, while Kathrine Andersen assisted on two goals.
The Trojans' lone goal was scored by Kasey Pruett. Caiti Norton was credited with the assist.
Troy returns home on Friday to face North Texas in a match that will be played at 3 p.m. at the Troy Soccer Complex.
