Trojans to Host Hornets in Home Opener

The Troy University women's soccer team will host Alabama State in the team's home opener on Friday at 4 p.m.

The Trojans are coming off a 2-0 loss to North Dakota State in the Tulane Tournament. Troy managed just two shots in the loss, both by freshman forward Beth McClendon.

This is the first meeting between Troy and Alabama State, and is the first of three-straight matches with in-state opponents, as Troy hosts Alabama A&M on September 10 then travels to Alabama on Sept. 11.
