Trojans Compete at Georgia Tech

This is the last meet the team will compete in for preparation for the upcoming NCAA Mid-East Regionals later in the month.
For the men, senior Louis Harris placed in both the 100m and 200-meter dashes. In the 100m, Harris finished third with a time of 10.51 seconds. Harris finished fourth in the 200m with his time of 20.94.
Senior Belinda Bargmann broke her school record in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:31.42 giving her a 19th place finish.
For the women, freshman Tawanna Meadows finished ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.09 seconds.
Also on the women's side, the 4x100-meter relay team of Meadows, sophomores Ronella Gollman and Shakavia Henderson and freshman Jocelyn Williams had a time of 46.32 which gave them a ninth place finish.
After a week off the Trojans will be back in action on May 27 when they travel to Bloomington, Ind., to compete in the NCAA Mid-East Regionals.
