Freshman Tawanna Meadows and sophomore Ronella Gollman had times of 11.73 and 11.79 seconds, respectively in the 100-meter dash but did not break any records or qualify for the NCAA Regionals because the times were wind-aided.
Meadows and Gollman also had times of 24.33 and 24.64 seconds, respectively in the 200-meter dash. These times were also wind-aided.
Freshman Erin Clymer placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 5' 5 ¾”.
Junior Katrina Lewis finished ninth in the discus with a throw of 148'1”.
On the men's side, junior Louis Harris had a time of 10.55 seconds in the 100 and teammate senior Emery Vickers recorded a time of 10.67 seconds.
The 4x100 meter relay team of juniors Michael Acree and Don Pitter, Harris and Vickers finished fourth with a time of 40.97 seconds.
Acree also finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 25'.
In the throws, sophomore Ryan Baker finished sixth in the hammer with a distance of 156'5”. Sophomore John Rodgers had a throw of 191'9” in the javelin for a ninth place finish.
This meet was the last meet for the Trojans as a team. The 15 athletes who have qualified for the NCAA Regionals will compete in two more meets in preparation for the NCAA Regionals in Bloomington, Ind., on May 26-27.
