Holman Named to All-Tournament Team

Troy University's Laura Lee Holman earned a place on the UCF Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team for her efforts last weekend.

The junior from Columbus, Miss., averaged 12.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in the two-game classic. Eighteen of her 25 points in the classic came from three-point range, where she shot 6-of-9 (66.7 percent) in the tournament. Holman also dished out nine assists in Troy's two games.

Laura Lee raised her game to another level in this tournament,” Troy head coach Michael Murphy said. She had great effort and was our most productive player. We hope that she can maintain this level of play.”

The Trojans return to action on Tuesday when they host Georgia Southern at 7 p.m.
