Senior Belinda Bargmann led the Lady Trojans with a time of 18:29 earning her asecond place finish.
"Belinda really stepped it up this week and almost pulled off an upset overKatarina Lovrantova, who was a Sun Belt All-Conference runner in 2003," cross country coach Doc Anderson said.
Senior Lindsey Waldrop also had a high finish for the Lady Trojans placing fifthwith a time of 19:00.
Freshman Amber Way had her best finish of the season placing 21st with a timeof 20:31.
Rounding out the field for the Lady Trojans, freshman Erin Kniery, who finished24th with her time of 20:35 and sophomore Meghan Macdonald, who finished 33rd with a time of 21:07.
On the men's side, sophomore Brandon Hughes finished 10th with a time of 21:19.
Also for the men, junior Nate Hurley had his best finish of the season with a 15 thplace finish and a time of 27:43.
Freshmen Nick Lambert and Jordan Mahan finished in 28th and 29th respectively.
Lambert had a time of 29:24 and Mahan posted a time of 29:43.
Rounding out the field for the Trojans were freshman Michael Davis (37th, 31:53)and sophomore Kit Barnes (46th, 36:41).
The TROY cross country teams will be back in action on Oct. 11 when they travelto Auburn, Ala. for the Auburn Invitational.
